Love Letter III

Dear Mom,

We've been through so much over the years.  No matter how far apart we are, we manage to to keep distance a mere number.  I am proud that you have overcome your fear of technology.  Yes, you still need to be wary and not open every single email you receive.  It's vital to run your software updates and ensure you're anti-virus is the latest version.  I love that we text, email, and FBook together.  But even more than that, I'm thankful you are a drive a way.  I found the words below from such a well thought mind, which make me think of you.  You are a beautiful person, mom.  


The most beautiful people we have known are 

those who have known defeat, known suffering, 

known struggle, known loss, and have found 

their way out of the depths.  These persons 

have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an 

understanding of life that fills them with 

compassion, gentleness and a deep loving 

concern.  Beautiful people do not just happen.



To experience what you have in your own life, is what makes you beautiful.  Sure,  your life choices may not have all turned out the way you wanted, but, in this very moment, it has led you to THE here and now.  You have much to be proud of.  I know you to be a proud woman.  And I am proud of you and proud to be your daughter.  You are my beautiful Mother.
