Love Letter III

Dear Mom,

We've been through so much over the years.  No matter how far apart we are, we manage to to keep distance a mere number.  I am proud that you have overcome your fear of technology.  Yes, you still need to be wary and not open every single email you receive.  It's vital to run your software updates and ensure you're anti-virus is the latest version.  I love that we text, email, and FBook together.  But even more than that, I'm thankful you are a drive a way.  I found the words below from such a well thought mind, which make me think of you.  You are a beautiful person, mom.  


The most beautiful people we have known are 

those who have known defeat, known suffering, 

known struggle, known loss, and have found 

their way out of the depths.  These persons 

have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an 

understanding of life that fills them with 

compassion, gentleness and a deep loving 

concern.  Beautiful people do not just happen.

Forgiveness

Love Letter to Mom

Dear Mom,

I wanted to resurrect our family blog we started years ago. I am going to try to begin to flush out the many stories about our family that make it very special and treasureable in my mind.
To begin this endeavor, I must first apologize about me recent of ugly behaviors towards you.  Since becoming a parent of my own, I have been faced with countless retrospectives about my own past which has made me harbor some unresolved feelings. For that, I am so sorry I hurt you. Hurting you only hurts myself. I don't ever desire to hurt your feelings and when I do, it's usually because I'm in the midst of learning yet another life lesson that sadly can be at the expense of hurting your feelings. For that I am truly, deeply sorry.
I am grateful that you have an incredibly forgiving heart. Still, here is my continuous promise and that is I will not stop trying to be a better version of myself.
I love you.
New adventures awaits us this year. Let's begin a new and with the goal of adding to our life full of memories.
